Brave Browser and BAT

For those of you who want to avoid providing too much personal information to the Internet (Google, Bing, etc.), and would like to be bombarded with less ads and site trackers, then the Brave Browser might be for you. There are many options out there for reducing the exposure of your personal information to the Internet, but no one tool is a replacement for safe browsing practices. The Brave browser can be one piece of your arsenal for taking control over your Internet experience.

Brave does a great job of blocking third party trackers, ads, and malware. They do, however, provide you with the option of visiting advertiser websites (presumably curated based on your browsing history through Brave) in order to earn BAT (Basic Attention Token), a type of cryptocurrency utility token. With advertisers these days trying to find any possible place to get our attention, it's nice to be able to choose if you want to be advertised to or not. And, as an added bonus, viewing advertisements through the Brave browser gives you the added bonus of being rewarded with BAT if you decide to give an advertiser a few seconds of your day.
